What an amazingly wonderful whirlwind of a life I have been blessed with lately! While coupled with a bit of exhaustion and stress, this years show, "Pickin' on the Prairie" was an amazing success.
This sign welcomed guests as they entered our show!
Our quiet little country road has never seen this much traffic!
The customers waiting patiently in line before we opened.
A fun tradition we do to "Open the Show" is for Ron and I to strut down our drive, ringing our cowbells as we go! Some of the vendors joined us in ringing bells . . . one of our garden vendors even had a large gong to ring!
So much to see!
Our show "mascot" . . . our beloved old dog,
Tilley . . . the best dog ever!
Even the youngest of shoppers were happy! Yee Haw!
And you'll look sweet, upon the seat of a bicycle built for two! Isn't this mother-daughter duo adorable!?
Our "baby" boy, Connor, sang the blues for us . . .
This darling little girl had her world turned
upside down at our show!
I am not sure if I have ever shared with you the rich history of our 115 year old farm . . . and the amazing people that have called it home . . . check back in a few days and we can have a chat over tea about it.
In the meantime, I want to share the blessing . . . while yes, I am a bit prejudiced to Past Blessings Farm, wherever you find yourself . . . whether in the country or the city, in the suburbs or the mountains, if you are surrounded by people who love you, you are blessed. There is a sweet saying I love, that truly speaks of how I feel about my family, "As long as I am with you, I am home."
